A food allergen is a substance in food that can induce a hypersensitivity reaction. While some foods are healthy for the majority of the population to 3% of adults and 6% of children are susceptible to this type of allergy . As stated in Regulation (EU ) 1169/2011 must name this allergen in the food and use a different font to inform the end customer. In E.
